Haider-A Chutzpah
"Hum Hai ki Hum Nahi".....
I wanted to watch this movie on the first day But the durga pujaa festival did not allow me to do it.So I went to watch it today.I thought its too late and I might find noone in theatre so i literally asked for companion on facebook.
(Un)Surprisingly the show was houseful.there were 12 shows for #BangBang(read Hrithik's 6packs) and ONLY 1 for #Haider.Still people opted for this "poetry on motion" instead of "flaunting abs"
Coming back to the movie.......
Some movies you review,some movies you just absorb.Haider belongs to the later one. #haider was
incredible..a true blue heart wrenching cinema.a dark,very very dark movie with Kashmir as its background.
"Inteqaam se sirf inteqaam paida hota hai, azaadi nahi." So easy to understand yet so difficult to execute. Brilliant adaptation of Hamlet by Vishal Bharadwaj.This film will disturb you so much and yet took you along with it so forcefully.all credit goes to the captain of the ship,Vishal Bharadwaj.Be it direction or the music or the haunting background music,In every aspect he has hit the bulls eye.
*Shahid Kapoor:- He is the same actor who acted in some mindblowing films like #JabWeMet #Kaminey and as well as in some not so well #TeriMeriKahani #DilBoleHadippa.Haider is the movie which shows you what shahid kapoor is capable of.He acted brilliantly in the role of Haider Meer.He just moved me to tears.the pain in his eyes,the conflict in his mind,the madness after he got to know about his father's condition has been executed so well that you are bound to LOVE this character....the scene where he explains "CHUTZPAH" to the mass has to be ONE OF THE BEST INDIAN FILM SCENES EVER.
*Tabu:- I doubt any other actress could do justice to the role of "Ghazala" except her.Ghazala is the most complicated character of Haider with lots of Grey shades.the distance between her "jaana & his mozi" has been portrayed so beautifully..her inner struggle to choose any one between haider & khurram steals the show.The sadness in Tabu's eyes was there throughout the movie.This is the thing I loved most.
*Kay Kay Menon:- What can i say about this actor! He was brilliant in #LifeInaMetro and in this one also he impressed by his acting.....the very last scene where he himself requests Haider to Kill Him takes the cake!
*Shraddha Kapoor:- for first few minutes she was in her #Aashiqui2 #EkVillain type of typical Innosense mode but she did a commendable job at the later part of the movie.Watch out those scenes where she sings Do Jahaan and then commit suicide.her kashmiri accent of english will surely impress you..She simply "rockad" it,and I "Lavad" her acting.
*Irrfan Khan:- Roohdaar...........His entry with the haunting #AaoNa music is simply mindblowing.with his entry the film became much more interesting.public in theatre cheered in his entry..
Credit goes to #MukeshChabraa for casting such brilliant actor as supporting roles.be it Haider's dad or Arshia's dad or those two a*****e Salman fans....
Conclusion:- Vishal Bharadwaj's Kashmir is very different than Yash Chopra's kashmir and seems much more real.while some are calling it Anti-National movie (which is NOT at all true) many are calling it as a masterpiece.with IMDB rating 9.0 this movie is the BEST of 2014 till now and Shahid gonna take all the best actor awards next year.

2.When he kills those two Salman fans
3.Bismil Song Sequence
4.The Grave Digger Scene.
5.The Climax........the very last scene where haider shows his inner conflict of taking revenge.
"main rahoon ya na rahoon,jaan loon ya jaan doon"......at the end i just want to thank #VishalBharadwaj sir for making this movie.....I just "Lavad" your Chutzpah ;)
P.S:- I rarely write long movie reviews but couldn't resist myself from doing this one's....though i am too small to rate this masterpiece,still 10/10.

Mirchi Music Award-2014
Was watching Mirchi Music Award yesterday in my lappy...I just loved the tribute to The Badshah Of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan given by Radio Mirchi & Music Industry.I had tears in my eyes meanwhile I was reliving my entire childhood.....From Yeh Kali Kali Aakhein to Lungi Dance! I am a proud SRKian and will always be the same till death.
